Steps to Apply Voter ID Card Online via NVSP Portal

Step 1: The first thing you have to open the official website of National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) the portal can be access from here as well: nvsp.in

Step 2: On the home page of the screen you will see the option “Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC” click on it as show in below image.

Step 3: Now the Form 6 will appear on screen fill all the details State, District, Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency, choose 

As a first time voter / due to shifting from another constituency

Fill your name, surname, relative name surname, type of relation, select gender, fill date of birth, present address and current address, enter email id, mobile number, upload the documents as said above and finally hit the “Submit” button.

How to Apply Voter ID Card via Offline Method

In my opinion online method is best but still if you trust on offline method more than online then you can go ahead however it will take too much time of yours below are the steps via following it you can apply for new voter id card offline.   • First of all visit the election office of your area.
  • Now ask for the “Form 6” or simple let him know that you wanna apply for new voter id card.
  • Fill the form respectively and attached the photo copy of your documents and submit it to the office.
  • The official will provide you an slip with application number via it you can track the status of your voter id card.
  • within 30 days BLO of your area will visit your residence for verification purpose and will make the report accordingly and soon your voter id card will be reached at your home.
