Procedure to Apply Ration Card in Delhi Online 2019

Step 1: First of all visit official website of Department of Food,Supplies and Consumer Affairs,GNCT of Delhi here: https://nfs.delhi.gov.in/Home.aspx

Step 2: Now click on “Apply Online for Food Security” as shown in below image.

Step 3: Now you will be redirect to another official website of eDistrict which link is also shared here: https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/in/en/Home/Index.html

Step 4: Here on top of the page you can see the following options

I know you visits this website for the first time, so here you to click on New User and register yourself the registration process is as follows

  • First choose document type Aadhar Card or Voter Id
  • enter the number of your aadhaar card or voter id whatever you have choose
  • Fill the captcha code
  • Now a form will appear on screen, where you have to fill your name, mother name, father name, address & mobile number & email id etc.
  • Click on continue to register button. That;s it you will receive the registration id and password on your mobile and email id accordingly.

Step 5: Click on Registered Users Login button Enter your user id and password in prescribe box. fill the captcha code and click on Log in button.

Step 6: My profile page will appear on screen from here go to Apply Online and “Apply for Services” as shown in below image.

Step 7: Now go to “DEPARTMENT OF FOOD & SUPPLY” section and click on “Issuance of AAY/Priority Household Card” “Apply” button.

Step 8: Now it will show you pre-filled form details just scroll down and click on Continue button.

Step 9: Now the ration card apply form will appear on screen fill the form accordingly.  Please enter the eldest female family member in head of family.

Step 10: Enter the details of other family member accordingly and upload their photographs.

Step 11: Now upload all the documents  supportive documents which are describe below.

Step 12: Now click on “Final Submit” button make sure you have enter all the details correctly because you can’t change it later.

Ste 13: Congratulations you have successfully applied for ration card in Delhi online a online slip will generate where Application Number & Registration ID is mentioned take the print of this slip or note down the registration number and application number to track the status of your ration card.

As you have successful applied for ration card now the next is to check the status of your ration card how to check it but keep in mind check your ration card status only after the 30 days because before it, it will not show you the messages.

  • First of all visit this link: https://nfs.delhi.gov.in/Citizen/ViewApplicationStatus.aspx
  • Now enter aadhar number of any family member in prescribe box.
  • You have to enter the NFS Application ID/Online Citizen ID which you received at the time of registration here.
  • Enter New ration card No(like 077….)
  • Enter Old ration card No(like AAY12…)
  • Finally click on “Search” button.

It will show you the message accordingly either your application is accepted or rejected and either your ration card is generated or not.

Steps to Download Ration Card in Delhi or Get eRation Card

Step 1: To get eRation Card or to download ration card online in Delhi access the official site once again: https://nfs.delhi.gov.in/Home.aspx

Step 2: Here on home page on the right hand scroll down and click on “Get e-Ration Card” link

Step 3: On the new page you have to enter following details in prescribe box.

  • Ration Card No.
  • Name of the Head of Family (HOF)
  • Aadhaar No. of HOF/NFS ID
  • Date of Birth of HOF
  • Mobile No. as given in the NFS application or registered later in NFS website

Step 4: Once you fill all the details you have to click on “Continue” button.

Step 5: You will receive the OTP in your mobile number

Step 6: Enter this OTP in the prescribe box

Step 7: In the next box enter the aadhaar card number of any of the family member

Step 8: Finally click on “Download” button.

Congratulations you have successfully downloaded ration card and now can use it for any purpose you want and can start taking grains on subsidy price from the shop you allotted.
